Biomedical engineering maintains the electrical integrity and functionality
of clinical equipment for therapeutic, clinical and diagnostic care. Functions
include pre-purchase evaluation, scheduled maintenance, modifications
and service agreement review.

Staff consists of three technicians and a department secretary. Biomedical
engineers are required to complete a minimum of an Associate Degree in
Biomedical equipment technology, and most also have an associated degree
