Volunteer

Do you like to help others? Do you have some free time? Do you have a talent to share? CCH volunteers support their community in many ways—come join them!

Our dedicated volunteers give their time and expertise for the betterment of Campbell County Health, including Campbell County Memorial Hospital, Campbell County Medical Group, Hospice, The Legacy Living and Rehabilitation Center, and more. Volunteers reap many personal benefits—the accomplishment of performing worthwhile work, visiting with old friends, and meeting new ones. Our volunteers make a difference in someone's life simply by being there.

Hospice
If you have the qualities of compassion, empathy, kindness and grace, and the desire to give back, volunteering with hospice could be a rewarding experience.

Campbell County Health Hospice is not a place. It is an all-encompassing approach to the care we provide in the comfort of your home. Our hospice care embraces all patients, whether they have diagnoses of cancer, heart disease, AIDS, Alzheimer's or other life-limiting illnesses.

Hospice volunteers provide administrative support for staff and assist families during their most difficult days; in the patient’s home, at The Legacy Living and Rehabilitation Center. Volunteers can serve during daytime, evening or weekend hours.

Junior

CCH Junior Voluneer Campbell County Health's Junior Volunteer Program offers young people ages 13-18 an opportunity to learn new skills, give back to the community, make new friends and have fun all at the same time. Applications are available each May and up to 40 volunteers are accepted into the program, which begins in June. Most volunteers end their service as the new school year begins in the fall, while a few opt to volunteer in the winter months.

Volunteers are expected to spend at least three hours a week with the organization. They are assigned to work in many different departments including Child Care, Environmental Services, Medical Records, Nutrition Services, and The Legacy Living and Rehabilitation Center among others. They also complete special projects such sell popcorn as a way to make money for the CCH Volunteer Services Scholarship program.
