CEO Update January 2016

Surveys say that communication is the No. 1 thing that employees think needs improvement in almost any organization. With almost 1,200 full time, part-time and on-call employees, Campbell County Health is no different. We want our employees to be informed about the place they work, the successes, the challenges, and where we're going in the future; and we do that in various ways. It's also important to provide an opportunity for dialog, and for the CEO to be approachable to all employees.

To that end we established periodic employee forums, dubbed "Ask Andy" by one of the marketing staff, where I met with employees, answered their questions and talked about current projects. While this worked well for those who could take time to be there, it didn't really allow employees across different shifts, departments and facilities to easily attend. With help from GPA TV, we began filming Ask Andy and streaming the video on our internal website. One of our Board members suggested that we place my project update on the public website so anyone can watch and see what's happening at CCH. Below is a 10-minute video update of current construction projects, physician recruitment and an update on other happenings in our organization.

My hope is that we continue to do this for you to also help keep you informed on the successes of CCH. Enjoy.
