Thanks for working here Thursday: Denny Bohne, Paramedic, EMS

Campbell County Health is proud of its employees, and we want the CCH family and the Campbell County community to know about the good work that they do for this organization.

Allow me to introduce Denny Bohne, a paramedic and Southern Campbell County EMS Coordinator at Campbell County Health Emergency Medical Services (EMS). Denny has served more than 19 years as a Paramedic, and before that he was an EMT, and has worked for CCH for 18 of those years. A very visible part of our organization, the EMS department cares for the sick and injured through prevention, response, intervention, and transport to a medical facility. Every day, our EMS crews are called upon to help others through one of what may be the most frightening times of their lives. Denny was inspired to work in health care by a friend and paramedic in his hometown. “I found myself caring for the injured before I ever thought of becoming an EMT,” he said. We asked Denny what he liked most about working for CCH, and what excellence every day means to him. Check out his response:

“EMS is a ground zero response-team, bringing relief to the sick and injured. We work together, respect and care about each other.

Excellence Every Day means that I’m being the best possible employee, caregiver and leader in the organization; and that overall I’m providing excellent care to our customers.”

Denny, thank you for all that you do for keeping our community safe. We appreciate you!

Is there a CCH employee who went the extra mile or shows you extraordinary service? Give them a pat on the back by completing an Excellence Every Day card.
