Thanks for working here Thursday: Juli Matthews, Early Childhood Center

Campbell County Health is proud of its employees, and we want the CCH family and the Campbell County community to know about the good work that they do for this organization.

Say hello to Juli Matthews, CDA, who works in the CCH Early Childhood Center. For those who don't know, the Early Childhood Center provides childcare for the kiddos of CCH employees when they are at work—currently, the Center is only open to CCH employees. CDA stands for Child Development Associate and Juli’s certification is for preschool and toddler education. Juli studied for a while at Eastern Oregon University, but the major part of her education was earned “through the University of Life. I ran my own childcare in Oregon for 10 years,” she says. Juli has worked with CCH for 10 years, and many of our employees will tell you that anyone with kids who has had Juli as their child’s teacher absolutely loves her. We asked Juli what she likes most about working for CCH and what excellence every day means to her. Check out her response:

“I love working at CCH because it is more than just a place to work, it is a family. My department is a team of people who love what they do and have the same goals. We are always training and learning the best way to care and educate children. My manager is someone whose open door policy makes my job easier.

Excellence every day means I have children that are happy, and know that they are in a place that is safe and loving.”

Thank you, Juli. We all see how much you enjoy working with our children. We are happy that you are on our team.

Is there a CCH employee who went the extra mile or shows you extraordinary service? Give them a pat on the back by completing an Excellence Every Day card.
