Are you struggling with back pain?

According to the Journal of Orthopaedic & Sports Physical Therapy, eight out of 10 people experience back pain at some point in their life.

Back pain can be caused by different lifestyle influences, including:

  • prolonged sitting—either at a desk job, or driving heavy machinery
  • decreased physical activity
  • or bending and lifting improperly

Whether you have been dealing with low back pain for less than six weeks (acute), between six to 12 weeks (subacute) or longer than 12 weeks (chronic), scheduling with a physical therapist is important for your recovery and for prevention of back pain occurring again.

If you or someone you know is struggling with back pain, come see your local physical therapists at Campbell County Health Rehabilitation Services for varying treatment options focused on helping you regain your quality of life, improve your strength, decrease your pain and prevent re-occurrences of low back pain. There are many treatment options available to help reduce pain and improve your mobility. These treatment options may include :

  • manual therapy techniques varying from soft tissue mobilization to dry needling
  • strengthening and flexibility exercises
  • education for proper body mechanics during daily and work activities
  • and assistance in creating a safe and effective home program for continued management and prevention of pain after you are discharged from therapy.
