Student must be 18 years of age, have a current Wyoming CNA unencumbered license, and have completed at least 1,500 hours of documented work as a CNA. Please note the student is responsible for getting the required textbooks. The Class Registration fee does not include the cost of the books. There are four weeks of four-hour online assignments per week prior to the classroom dates.

What does a CNA do?

CNAs responsibilities include maintaining patient hygiene, supporting doctors and nurses in medical procedures and technical treatments, patient charting, and explaining care instructions to patients.

A certified nursing assistant, or CNA, helps patients or clients with healthcare needs under the supervision of a Registered Nurse (RN) or a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN). Also known as a Nursing Assistant (NA) a Patient Care Assistant (PCA) or a State Tested Nurse Aid (STNA), the individual who carries this title needs a strong work ethic and ability.​
