GILLETTE, WY – Campbell County Memorial Hospital Employee Health Nurse Rose Rennell, RN, MSN, COHN, is this year’s recipient of the Keith A. Miller “Unsung Hero” Award from the Wyoming Institute for Disabilities, (WIND). WIND is part of the University of Wyoming’s College of Health Sciences. The award, given October 8 at the annual MEGA Conference in Casper, recognizes individuals who demonstrate an exceptional commitment to enhancing the lives of people with disabilities through employment or volunteer activities.
Ms. Rennell received the award in recognition for her efforts to promote accessibility, disaster preparedness for the disabled and participation on the Board of Directors for Wyoming Independent Living.
“Even among an excellent pool of nominees, your commitment and devotion to health care, equality, access, and respect for people with disabilities stood out as exemplary,” said WIND Executive Director William E. MacLean, Jr., PhD.
