Monthly Infectious Disease Clinic scheduled

GILLETTE, WY - Campbell County Memorial Hospital (CCMH) will begin a monthly Infectious Disease Clinic with Dr. Christopher Brown beginning Monday, August 16. Dr. Brown is Board Certified in Internal Medicine and Infectious Disease.

The Infectious Disease physician evaluates and treats patients with complex infectious problems, working with patients to determine the cause of the infection and developing a treatment plan. Most patients are referred by another physician for Infectious Disease evaluation. The monthly clinic will be held on the second floor south at the hospital. Appointments can be scheduled by calling 307.688.3535. The next clinic date is set for Friday, September 24.

Dr. Brown attended medical school at the Baylor College of Medicine, and completed a residency in Internal Medicine at the University of Utah and a Fellowship in Infectious Diseases at the National Institutes of Health.

In addition to his Infectious Disease practice, Dr. Brown also treats patients as part of the CCMH Hospitalist program. A Hospitalist is a physician who cares for hospital patients exclusively. Patients under the care of a Hospitalist appreciate the immediate and around-the-clock access to a doctor.
