Nofity EMS of AEDs

  • Posted On:
Do you have an AED?
According to the Wyoming law, any persons or entities that have an AED (Automatic External Defibrillator) must notify their local EMS office of its existence, location and type.

CCMH Emergency Medical Services is compiling a complete listing of all AED's in Campbell County. This is important so local EMS responders know where AEDs are located in the community. In the event of a sudden cardiac emergency, the 911 dispatcher will know if an AED is on the premises and can notify the EMS system and the responders on the scene.

EMS personnel may then review AED placement and access with the organization.

Contact Gregg Mentzel at 688.116 or education@ccmh.net to verify the possession, acquisition or relocation of any AEDs.
