Health Scene debuts in homes this week

Campbell County Memorial Hospital's new community newsletter was mailed to 24,000 households in Gillette and surrounding areas this week.

Health Scene is a quarterly four-page community health and wellness tabloid (printed on newsprint-style paper). It contains both general health information and custom content. This quarter’s articles feature information on stress incontinence and new Urologist Dr. Barabas, hip replacement surgery and how choose a primary care doctor.

"The community newsletter format is a way to showcase multiple services in one publication that every household receives, said Karen Clarke, Community Relations Manager. "Research has shown that the newsletter format gets read by consumers. We’re excited to be able to provide more health information to our community."

Health Scene is also available online as a pdf file. Click on News and Events and choose Health Scene newsletter.

To begin this effort, we are asking the public to answer a six-question survey on what items they would like to have on our website.
