CCH Employee certified as a Resident Assessment Coordinator

GILLETTE, WY – Marcylene (Marcy) Otto, RN, registered nurse at Pioneer Manor recently received certification as a Resident Assessment Coordinator from the American Association of Nurse Assessment Coordination (AANAC).

Nurses who meet the requirements are awarded the credential RAC-CT. The RAC-CT program consists of 10 courses for professionals with at least six months of experience in the long-term care field. Recertification is required every two years.

Marcy has been employed at Pioneer Manor since June 2008.

The American Association of Nurse Assessment Coordination (AANAC) is a nonprofit member organization dedicated to supporting long term care professionals who provide quality care for nursing home residents across the nation. With more than 14,000 members, AANAC is committed to the success of the entire interdisciplinary team and delivers accurate and timely information, educational opportunities, advocacy in legislation, and a peer-community of support.
