Kid Clinic now part of state and national vaccine programs

GILLETTE, WY–Campbell County Medical Group’s Kid Clinic now offers the Vaccines for Children (VFC) Program for children whose parents or guardians may not be able to afford them. VFC is a federally funded vaccine program to protect babies, young children and adolescents from 16 diseases. Eligible children are those who are 18 years of age and younger and are at least one of the following:

  • Eligible for Medicaid
  • Uninsured (no insurance)
  • American Indian or Alaska Native
  • Underinsured (at a Federally Qualified Health Center (FQHC), Rural Health Clinic (RHC), or any other provider with delegated authority)

Children who are Wyoming residents and do not qualify for VFC may qualify for Wyoming Vaccinates Important People (WyVIP), a state-funded vaccination program also available at the Kid Clinic. Influenza, Hepatitis A, meningococcal and HPV vaccines are not available through the WyVIP program.

Vaccines are available at no charge, with a minimal administrative fee per injection. These programs help ensure that all children have a better chance of getting their recommended vaccinations on schedule.

The Kid Clinic is a primary care clinic for infants through age 18, located at 800 Butler Spaeth Road in the old Hillcrest School Building. The Kid Clinic also provides mental health counseling services for children in the Campbell County School District. The Kid Clinic is a collaboration between Campbell County Health and Campbell County School District and is open Monday-Friday from 8 am-5 pm. Contact the Kid Clinic at 307-688-8700.
