CCH implements visiting restrictions at CCMH Maternal Child, The Legacy

GILLETTE, WY – Due to increased cases of community influenza (the flu), Campbell County Health has implemented visiting restrictions at Campbell County Memorial Hospital Maternal Child Unit and The Legacy Living and Rehabilitation Center. Visiting restrictions are in place to help protect visitors, residents and employees.
Maternal Child 2020 restrictions include:
- The Maternal Child has restricted visiting to the mother's spouse or significant other and two additional visitors at any one time. Visiting in Labor and Delivery is always limited to three.
- Children under 12 years old are not permitted to visit. The newborn’s sibling(s) who are under 12 years old may visit if they are screened for symptoms of illness by Maternal Child nurses.
- Visitors who feel ill should not visit. Please do not come if you have a fever, cough, runny nose, muscle aches or fatigue.
- Masks and hand sanitizer are available throughout the hospital and at each entrance. Patients presenting at the CCMH Emergency Department, Campbell County Medical Group Walk-in Clinic, CCMG Main Clinic or other CCMG offices within the hospital should wear a mask and use hand sanitizer if they feel ill or have cold or flu symptoms such as fever or cough.
The Legacy restrictions include:
- All visitors are encouraged to use hand sanitizer prior to visiting any resident. Masks and hand sanitizer stations are located at the main entrance.
- No children under age of 12 may visit, with exception of resident family members. Resident’s family member children under the age of 12 can visit, but must wear a mask.
- Visitors who feel ill should not visit. Please do not come if you have a fever, cough, runny nose, muscle aches or fatigue.
