Thank you to the Office of EMS, and the Hospital Preparedness Program, Wyoming Department of Health, Public Health Division, Health Readiness and Response Section, for their generous sponsorship of EMS University. Their commitment to EMS education is appreciated by Campbell County Memorial Hospital EMS, the conference participants and, most importantly, by those who benefit from our services.
Rotating skill stations will be offered each morning starting at 7:30 am and continuing until 9 am. Stations available for CME credit will be basic splinting/stop the bleeding, spinal immobilization, CPR/AED, traction splinting, basic airway and half backboard. These stations require active participation. All equipment and personnel have been provided by Cloud Peak Energy Mine Recue and Joy Global ERT.
Documentation and verification of attendance at EMSU educational sessions is the participant’s responsibility. Continuing Education Credits will be available for all courses. Please be sure to sign in at each session you attend and remain in the room until the end of the session. At the end of each session, you need to place your brochure/schedule at the front of the table, in front of you, and a room monitor will walk around ensuring that your schedule is stamped before you leave the classroom. We will not be stamping at the door, as you exit the classroom, as this causes congestion at the entrance and exit of the classroom.
