Volunteer Opportunities

Michele Ridgeway, Volunteer Services

Do you like to help others? Do you have some free time? Do you have a talent to share? CCH volunteers support their community in many ways - come join them!

At CCH, there are more than 340 adult and youth volunteers who are coordinated by Coordinator Michele Ridgeway. In 2015, volunteers gave 10,072 hours, which is valued at over $210,000!

Our dedicated volunteers give their time and expertise for the betterment of Campbell County Health, Campbell County Memorial Hospital, Campbell County Medical Group, Hospice, Pioneer Manor and more. Volunteers reap many personal benefits—the accomplishment of performing worthwhile work, visiting with old friends and meeting new ones. Our volunteers make a difference in someone's day simply by being there.

There are many volunteer opportunities available, such as clerical support, administrative assistance, pastoral care/chaplains, childcare, Gift Shoppe sales, hospice, Information Desk/Welcome Desk, music in the lobby, and the summer Junior Volunteer Program. Hours are flexible to meet the needs of the volunteer.

Call for Youth Volunteer Applications

The CCH Junior Volunteer program has openings for about 40 young people, ages 13-18. Applications are due by May 20 and the program runs from June 1 to August 5. All applicants must participate in an interview and attend orientation on June 1, 2016. Contact Volunteer Services at 307.688.1536 for more information on volunteering at CCH, or for details on the 2016 program or download the application below.

A Grand Gesture

A heart-felt thank you to the Kate Weis Trust for the beautiful acoustic grand piano for the Main Lobby of CCMH. This generous gift will comfort and lighten the hearts of our patients for years to come.

If you’re interested in playing this beautiful instrument, or know someone who does, please contact Volunteer Services Coordinator Michele Ridgeway at 307.688.1536.

We are also searching for volunteers from the community of Wright to help in the CCMG Wright Clinic & Occupational Health. If you are interested in answering phones and helping with some office work, please contact us at 307.688.1536.

Website Survey

In 2016, Campbell County Health (CCH) is redesigning its website,, to help the organization provide the best quality care to our patients and residents. To begin this effort, we are asking the public to answer a six-question survey on what items they would like to have on our website. The survey should take no more than five minutes to complete and will closed at noon on Friday, January 29.
