Campbell County Medical Group OB GYN Specialists welcomes its second
WWAMI clerkship student, Mary Shickich, for a six-week rotation in Obstetrics and Gynecology with Drs. Anderson, Biggs and Linden. They are proud to be associated with the WWAMI medical education program as teaching faculty for the
University of Washington Medical School.
Mary grew up in Seattle, Wash., but has family in Casper so she’s familiar with Wyoming’s landscape and climate.
As an undergraduate at Emory University in Atlanta, Georgia, Mary's interest in psychology and public health took her to Bosnia, South Africa, and India. Her international experiences sparked her interest in medicine. After graduating with a BA in Psychology, Mary completed a post-baccalaureate program at
Johns Hopkins University in Baltimore, Maryland. She then returned to Seattle and worked as a case manager for chronically homeless adults with mental illness before beginning medical school at the University of Washington.
This is Mary’s third clinical rotation, having completed clerkships in surgery and psychiatry. You may have seen her in Gillette last summer as well, where she participated in a pediatric program at Bighorn Pediatrics.
“I don’t know exactly what medical specialty I’ll choose,” said Mary. “I’m keeping an open mind and learning all I can right now.”
