CCH offers entry level courses to medical field

Every year, Campbell County Health Professional Development and Laboratory departments offer a Basic Phlebotomy Class to those interested in the career. For those who don't know, a phlebotomist draws blood for analysis in a laboratory.

Here, students Tavia Blake and Samantha Vinot practice their skills at drawing blood with Misty Brown of the CCH Laboratory. These students are learning the basic skills needed to begin work in the laboratory field.

The Basic Phlebotomy Class is one of several classes with entry level opportunities in the medical field. Other upcoming courses offered include Basic Nursing Assistant and Medication Aide Certification training. Call 307-688-6040 for more information.
