Thanks for working here Thursday: Nancy, Environmental Services

Campbell County Health is proud of its employees, and we want the CCH family and the Campbell County community to know about the good work that they do for this organization.

Meet Nancy, an Environmental Services Technician II at Campbell County Health. Environmental & Linen Services is an essential department to all of CCH as it supports patient care by providing a clean, safe and comfortable environment for patients, visitors and staff. She was inspired to work in healthcare after volunteering with an ambulance service and the Fire Department when she was younger—she loved being able to help her friends and family in the community. Nancy has worked for CCH for 10 years and is also a Decon Team Leader, and it's clear that she enjoys her job and takes pride in the work she does for CCH. Nancy is fond of saying, "We work for a hospital, there's always something that needs cleaned." We asked Nancy what she likes most about working at CCH, and what excellence every day means to her. Check out her response:

"I love my job and being part of a great team that is able to help the community. My dad always told me growing up that I needed to, 'find something you like to do and do it; but do the job right the first time and take pride in what you do.' That really stuck with me. So, excellence to me is taking pride in what you do and making life easier and comfortable for whom you come in contact with."

We appreciate you, Nancy. Thank you for all of your hard work and dedication to this organization.
