Campbell County Health is proud of its employees, and we want the CCH family and the Campbell County community to know about the good work that they do for this organization.
Say hello to Jackie Walsh, RN, in the Medical / Surgical Department at Campbell County Health; and when needed, she'll help out in the
Intensive Care Unit. Jackie completed her Associates Degree in Nursing (ADN) at
Sheridan College, and is working on her Bachelor's Degree in Nursing from the
University of Wyoming. She's been with Campbell County Health for three years. From a young age, Jackie knew that she wanted to help care for people—starting at the age of 11 as a Candy Striper at a nursing home in Buffalo, Wyo. She obtained her CNA license when she was a senior in high school, and was a CNA for 10 years before she earned her ADN. We asked Jackie what she likes most about working for CCH and what excellence, every day means to her. Check out her response:
"It's very exciting to see the new types of medical care our organization can provide to such a rural place so that our community does not have to travel to receive great care. On top of that, the Med/Surge unit is like a home away from home for me—they are my family—and we work together to make sure our patients receive the best care possible.
To me, Excellence Every Day means constantly striving to make CCH a better place for every single person who walks through our doors—whether they be a patient, visitor, vendor, or a fellow employee. It means doing whatever it takes to put a smile on their face and make their visit memorable."
Jackie, it's clear to us that caring for people is your passion. We are truly thankful to have you as part of our team.
