Campbell County Health is proud of its employees, and we want the CCH family and the Campbell County community to know about the good work that they do for this organization.
Allow me to introduce Jody Christopherson, RRT, who works as a Registered Respiratory Therapist in Cardiopulmonary Services at Campbell County Health. Jody has an Associate's Degree in Applied Science in Respiratory Therapy, and is going training with the
Neurodiagnostic Technology Institute to work with nerve conductions—she's been doing some training with
Dr. Romer Mosquera of Campbell County Medical Group
Neurology. Jody has been with CCH for 14 years! Jody became interested in a career in health care after becoming ill her sophomore year in college while attending veterinary technician school. "I was hospitalized and the person who helped me the most was the Respiratory Therapist. I wanted to be that person who could help people," she says. We asked Jody what she likes most about working for CCH and what excellence every day means to her. Check out her response:
"I believe that CCH is a great organization to work for because it gives us the ability to pursue our goals as healthcare employees in a top-notch hospital with great equipment, and really great people. I am surrounded by talented people who love their jobs, and like to help the people in this community and the surrounding areas. I have been given the ability to increase my skill level and also do a variety of different jobs that Registered Respiratory Therapists can do—from floor care, to the Emergency Department and ICU, and specialty testing such as EEGs and more.
I believe that Excellence Every Day means that I want to make a difference in everyone's life I touch. This includes coworkers who I greet with a smile and a hello in the hallways, to the patients who come to this organization seeking some kind of help with a health problem and look to us to be kind, courteous, helpful and professional in our dealings with them. It really goes back to what my parents always said to me growing up, 'Treat people the way that you want to be treated.'"
Jody, we couldn't agree with you more. Thank you for being a member of our team. We appreciate you.
