Medical students learn the ropes at CCH

Meet Rage Geringer. Rage is the newest medical clerkship student at Summit OB GYN. The practice routinely sponsors students in their third year of medical school as part of the teaching faculty at the University of Washington Medical School.

Clerkships give medical students in their third year of medical school the opportunity to have real-life experiences in a practice setting, ultimately helping them decide on a specialty. Since he’s been in Gillette, Rage has observed OB GYN surgeries at Campbell County Memorial Hospital and worked alongside Dr. Jeff Anderson in the clinic. He recently celebrated his birthday here, made memorable by assisting at a delivery.

Rage signed up to do all his clinical rotations in Wyoming and has already completed six-week rotations in Family Practice in Douglas and Psychiatry in Casper. His next rotation, Pediatrics, will take him to Jackson.

Rage grew up in Glendo, Wyoming, but his only prior experience with Gillette was playing basketball against the Pronghorns while attending Sheridan College.

We welcome Rage to Gillette, Campbell County Health and Summit OB GYN.
