Campbell County Health is proud of its employees, and we want the CCH family
and the Campbell County community to know about the good work that they
do for this organization.
Say hello to Eileen Day, RN, who works at the Campbell County Medical Group (CCMG)
Endocrinology, Diabetes and Metabolism clinic with
Dr. Thomas Repas, but has spent time in the Campbell County Memorial Hospital
Maternal Child and
Surgery departments. Eileen earned her registered nursing degree from
Laramie County Community College in Cheyenne, Wyoming, and is thankful for a very good friend, Pam Eastman,
who helped her with Algebra and watched her children when needed. She
has worked for CCH for the last nine years. Eileen always thought that
she would be a nurse, and worked as a radiology tech at
Rochester General in New York after high school before she moved to Wyoming.
When asked about her health care heroes, Eileen says that she has many.
“Being a nurse has allowed me to work in many areas, and I try to
learn from all the people I work with. Everyday I learn something new,” she says.
Before coming to CCH, Eileen worked as a Health Coordinator for Head Start/Developmental
Preschools/Migrant Health, where she traveled to many places (from Washington,
D.C. to Alaska, and many places in between) and was on national peer review
teams, and set up health clinics for the migrant stream who worked the
sugar beet harvest.
Eileen’s children and grandson's live in Casper and Billings,
so living in Gillette makes it easy for her to spend time with them. When
she’s not working, Eileen and her husband, Bud, enjoy golfing and
camping, and volunteering at
CAM-PLEX. We asked Eileen what excellence every day means to her, and why she likes
working for CCH. Check out her response:
“Excellence every day for me means that I do my best all of the time.
I try to treat patients and co-workers the way I would like to be treated.
I am proud of the facilities and the care that CCH is able to offer. I
moved my parents here, so they could receive quality healthcare, and have
the opportunity to remain at home till the end of their lives. My mother
loved the staff and the environment at Hospice. The care she received
at the end of her live was such a gift to me.”
Thank you Eileen for providing our patients with excellence care. We are
proud to have you on our team.
