Campbell County Health is proud of its employees, and we want the CCH family and the Campbell County community to know about the good work that they do for this organization.

Krista PooleKrista Poole completes Certified Dietary Manager (CDM) exam
Krista Poole, Nutrition Tech at The Legacy Living and Rehabilitation Center, recently received certification as a Certified Dietary Manager, Certified Food Protection Professional (CDM, CFPP) from the Association of Nutrition and Foodservice Professionals (ANFP).

CDM, CFPPs are responsible for implementation of menus, foodservice purchasing, and food preparation. They apply nutrition principles, and document nutrition information by passing a nationally-recognized credentialing exam and fulfilling the requirements needed to maintain certified status.

At The Legacy, Krista works under registered dietitian Karen Polson to help residents select healthy meals and snacks. Krista has worked at CCH for eight years, starting as a cook.

Bill Stangl, CCH Vice President of Physician ServicesBill Stangl receives Innovative Challenge Award
Bill Stangl, CCH Vice President of Physician Services, recently received the Innovative Challenge Award from Med Man Medical Management at the annual MedMan University in Garden City, Idaho. The award emphasized the importance of innovation in group practice operations. Bill’s presentation, LEAN Approach…LARGE Results was chosen as the industry innovation with the greatest impact to one of the Med Man clinical practices.

Heather Whitt from The LegacyHeather Whitt receives Scheduler of the Year Award
Heather Whitt from The Legacy was chosen as Scheduler of the Year by OnShift, a staff scheduling software and service company. Heather is one of ten individuals from across the United States to receive this award. The Legacy uses OnShift for staff scheduling. OnShift’s mission is to deliver intuitive software and proactive services to solve workforce challenges in healthcare.

“We are proud and very fortunate to have her here at the Legacy helping to schedule staff to meet the resident needs,” said Jonni Belden, Vice President of Continuing Health Services.
