Designed to provide continuing education credits for Emergency Medical Technicians (EMT), paramedics, first responders and industry safety personnel, EMS University tracks include courses in basic life support and advanced life support.

Small teams can also sign-up to practice their skills in a life-like scenario competition. In this competition, participants will be required to test their skills by working through several scenarios. Each team will face a variety of emergencies, from heart attack to mass casualty. Learn a bit more about the Scenario Competition in this video with Paramedic Matt Stroot with Guardian Flight Wyoming, the competition sponsor.

EMS University takes place on April 12-14 at CAM-PLEX Energy Hall Center, 1635 Reata Drive in Gillette, Wyoming. At EMS University, participants earn up to 19 hours of continuing medical education. Cost to attend all three days is $170; two days is $120; and one day is $60. Visit www.cchwyo.org/emsu to register and get more event information. Participants can also register at the door during the event with cash or check as payment.
