Fish returned to the Caught in the Wild sculpture

Pssst: The fish has now been returned to the Caught in the Wild sculpture near the Gift Shoppe in the Campbell County Memorial Hospital (CCMH) Main Lobby!

The fish was removed from the bear's claws and placed in safe keeping in March 2018 after it was stolen from the hospital. Special thanks to the City of Gillette Police Department and the Campbell County Health Security Department in apprehending the suspect and returning the fish to the statue—hook, line and sinker. The statue is now safely encased in glass.

For those who don't remember, the Caught in the Wild sculpture was donated to CCMH through the generosity of the Kate Weis Trust. You can learn more about Caught in the Wild and the artist, Drew Walter here.
