Pardon our dust: CCMH Emergency Department triage room under construction

The triage room in the Campbell County Memorial Hospital (CCMH) Emergency Department (ED) is being remodeled this week (July 18).

When patients come to the ED they are initially evaluated by the triage nurse, who asks why they are here and takes vital signs. This helps ensure that patients with the most serious, life-threatening conditions or illnesses are treated first.

The remodeling project includes adding two new windows in the triage room and moving the entry door so it opens into the lobby. When the project is completed at the end of the week, the triage nurse will have a better view of the lobby for patient safety, and more direct access for patients.

So, please, pardon our dust while we work to make our services better for you in Gillette, Wyoming! Learn more about the Emergency Department at www.cchwyo.org/er.
