Thanks for working here Thursday: Jenny Kercher, CCH Information Technology

Campbell County Health is proud of its employees, and we want the CCH family and the Campbell County community to know about the good work that they do for this organization.

Say hello to Jenny Kercher, a Clinical Informatics Physician Trainer with CCH Information Technology in Gillette, Wyoming. Jenny has been with CCH for 22 years—12 years she spent working in the Heptner Cancer Center’s Oncology unit and the Campbell County Memorial Hospital Surgery Department, before taking the gig with IT. The CCH Information Technology department helps the organization provide safe and efficient patient care with technology. Jenny spends her time helping physicians learn how to use all of the technology available to them at CCH.

Jenny was inspired to work in healthcare because she loves to make a difference in peoples’ lives. “I felt that working in healthcare would be the most rewarding and best opportunity to helping others,” she says.

When asked about her hero, she mentioned her mother. “She has always taught us that the little things go a long way in making a difference. She took great pride in caring for others and raising eight kids. She is one the calmest, level-headed people I know. Her positive outlook on things and strive to find the good in everyone is what I have always tried to become myself,” says Jenny.

When Jenny isn’t working, she enjoys spending time with her family. “We go camping, four wheeling and just enjoying the outdoors. My personal passion is crafting just about anything my mind can dream up,” she says. Jenny is married to her loving husband of 23 years, and they have two wonderful sons and a wonderful daughter together.

We asked Jenny what she likes most about working for CCH, and what excellence every day means to her. Check out her response:

“The best part of working for CCH is always feeling like I am part of great team that cares for our community. We are always striving to provide the best tools to care for our patients.

Excellence every day means that I’m striving to make myself the best version of myself every day.”

Thank you, Jenny, for all of your hard work! We appreciate you.
