Thanks For Working Here This Week: Chris Rollings, CCH Plant Operations

Campbell County Health is proud of its employees, and we want the CCH family and the Campbell County community to know about the good work that they do for this organization.

Meet Chris Rollings, a Maintenance Mechanic for the CCH Plant Operations department in Gillette, Wyoming. For those who don't know, Plant Operations supports patient care by providing a well-maintained, safe and comfortable environment for patients, visitors and staff. Chris is part of a team that performs routine building and ground maintenance and construction planning to meet the changing needs of our community. Another way to look at it is that Plant Ops is the department responsible for keeping the lights on and our entire facility in working order. We couldn’t stay open, without their hard work and expertise.

Before Chris joined the CCH family just over a year ago, he served in the United States Army for 30 years. Being called to serve in the armed forces or healthcare requires a special personality trait, and Chris has it! He says he was inspired to work in health care because he wanted to help people and make the hospital a nice place for people to come to.

While Chris has become a part of our CCH family, he says all of his co-workers have become his health care heroes. "They are so helpful while I learn the facility and have always been patient. I can always go to them, and I will always get an answer, or shown how to do tasks. It’s really comfortable to work with them,” he says.

Outside of keeping CCH in tiptop shape, Chris enjoys hunting, fishing, shooting and spending time with his family.

We asked Chris what he likes most about working for CCH, and what excellence every day means to him. Check out his response:

“I really like the people I work with. It’s really easy to work with people at CCH and that makes me feel better because I’m new to this.

Excellence Every Day is doing my best and making my best effort, taking pride in my work and the facility, and taking pride in our community.”

We have been happy to bring Chris into our CCH family! Thank you, Chris, for being a part of our team, and for your service to our nation.

Is there a CCH employee who went the extra mile or shows you extraordinary service? Give them a pat on the back by completing an Excellence Every Day card.
