Dr. Daniel S. Allen brings his knowledge in the study of Podiatry to the
Powder River Orthopedic & Spine team. Dr. Allen can assist patients with foot and knee problems so that
they may return to their daily activities with less pain and fatigue.
He is board certified with the American Board of Podiatric Surgeons (ABPS).
He attended medical school at University of Osteopathic Medicine and Heath
Sciences in Des Moines, Iowa. He completed residency at Westview Hospital
in Indianapolis, Indiana.
Specializing in treating ailments such as flat-footedness, sports medicine
and injuries to the foot and ankle, Dr. Allen will work with patients
to improve their mobility and manage their pain, as well as performing
corrective treatments for bunions, hammertoes, warts and toenail problems.
He understands the need for patients to be able to complete everyday tasks
without pain or struggle.
Dr. Allen enjoys treating children to correct pediatric deformities as
a specialty, and is proud to be one of the few surgeons in the country
offering Diabetic Neuropathy to relieve pain and restore feeling in the
lower extremities of diabetic patients.
Dr. Allen is from this region and after many years in the Midwest, moved
to Wyoming in 2008 to be closer to family. Originally from Utah, Dr. Allen
enjoys the wide open spaces of our landscape and enjoys the many activities
our state has to offer.
In his free time, Dr. Allen enjoys spending time with his wife and 3 children
enjoying church activities, enjoying the outdoors and completing home projects.
