Lobby remodel project underway at hospital

  • Posted On:

Patient lobbies on each floor of Campbell County Memorial Hospital will undergo remodeling as part of the hospital's $68 million expansion project, beginning with the 5th floor lobby. The first floor to be remodeled, the 5th, is estimated to take about seven weeks, with each successive floor expected to take less time.

Remodeling will include new flooring, paint and extensive restroom upgrades. One-half of each lobby will be remodeled at a time, with floor-to-ceiling barriers to separte the work areas from employee and patient traffic. Visitor elevators will be locked out to the floor undergoing remodeling during the first phase of the project, and the other visitor elevator is locked out for the duration of the project for construction workers and materials only.

Patients and visitors should observe posted signage, and may be directed to another floor for patient waiting and restrooms during the project. Restaurant-style pagers have been purchased to aid in communication with patients awaiting appointments.
