Welcome new Clinics Director

  • Posted On:

Two weeks into her new job, new Professional Services and Campbell County Clinics Director Tammy Graham’s excitement is contagious.

"I want to infuse excitement about the clinics and all the services we provide to the community," said Tammy. "It’s phenomenal what we have here."

Tammy’s duties include oversight of all the outpatient clinics and the providers who practice there, plus the ED physicians. Her background of over 30 years of physician management and more recently, managing scheduling, patient registration and admitting, and accounts receivable oversight for two hospitals was the perfect skill set for CCMH.

Tammy comes to Gillette from Ontario in eastern Oregon, a community with a 49-bed hospital that was recently acquired by a larger health system. She actually interviewed at CCMH about three years ago.

"The timing wasn’t right," she said. "Andy (Fitzgerald) had previously been the CFO at Holy Rosary Medical Center in Ontario. We kept in touch off and on, and earlier this year he called about this opportunity."

Tammy’s first priority is to establish consistency among all the clinics, and act as both a liaison and advocate for the providers with Administration.

The move to Gillette was a move for Tammy’s whole family. In addition to her husband Ted, Tammy’s son, daughter-in-law and grandchildren found employment here.

"My youngest son was planning on staying in Idaho," she said. "But during a visit here he found a job and moved to Gillette."

CCMH employees will be seeing much more news about all the clinics as the branding campaign begins for Campbell County Clinics. The addition of three new physicians and consolidation of all the clinics under one name will take some getting used to for those used to names like Sagebrush ENT and Cottonwood.

"I see my role as helping to pull everything together," said Tammy. "Outpatient clinics and inpatient services are really intertwined, and will continue to be even closer in the future."
