Pioneer Manor Restricts Visiting due to Influenza
GILLETTE, WY - Pioneer Manor has initiated visiting restrictions until further notice, due to a recent rise in confirmed cases of influenza. No visitors are permitted at Pioneer Manor at this time, including relatives of residents.
"Residents are at a higher risk for contracting influenza than the general population", according to Baerbel Merrill, CCMH Infection Control Officer
Erik Bjordahl, Pioneer Manor Administrator, expresses his empathy, "We understand that it's disappointing when you can't visit loved ones, but our first concern is the health and safety of our residents. I want to thank everyone in advance for their patience and cooperation."
Visiting restrictions will be lifted as soon as it is determined safe to do so.
