GILLETTE, WY –Campbell County Health (CCH) Medical Staff Coordinator
Deb Wade was recently elected President-Elect of WyAMSS, the
Wyoming Chapter of the National Association of Medical Staff Services.
Deb Wade has been employed at CCH since 2004 and has served as Medical
Staff Coordinator since 2010. As Medical Staff Coordinator, she provides
support to the Medical Staff and acts as liaison between Medical Staff
and Administration. She processes all Medical Staff applications and works
with Medical Staff Leadership on approval of privileges, scheduling Medical
Staff meetings, maintaining Medical Staff Bylaws, Rules and Regulations
and Policies & Procedures, as well as other Administrative duties.
The goals of WyAMSS are to enhance the skills and general competence of
practicing Medical Staff Services Professionals; assist members to understand
and succeed in the changing organizational structure of the health care
industry; promote a positive, powerful and professional image for the
Medical Staff Services profession and for the Association itself, and
support the mission and activities of the
National Association Medical Staff Services (NAMSS).
WyAMSS was established in 2012, when a small group of executive and medical
staff coordinators came together with a vision to create an organization
to provide an opportunity for continuing education, networking and professional
development in the areas of credentialing and practitioner support services.
Deb has been actively involved with WyAMSS since its inception, previously
holding the title of Secretary/Treasurer, and will now serve a two year
term as President-Elect.
