Art by Buffalo artist Jenny Wuerker is a showcase piece in the main lobby.
About 96 pieces of artwork were hung in the expansion August 11-12 by professional
installers. Brenda Locke from Faulkner Locke in Atlanta, GA, supervised
the installation and placed each piece in its new home. Faulkner Locke
specializes in providing artwork for public buildings such as hospitals,
and works with the organization to select art that represents the region,
and complements the building's architecture and color scheme. Look
for the artwork in the main lobby, Patient Accounting, Registration, cafeteria
and Administrative suites. A large part of the artwork was placed in Outpatient
Surgery, where each patient room received a unique piece. More artwork
is planned for the rest of the lobby remodel and the Walk-in Clinic, when
it moves into the hospital this fall. Brenda and her team will be back
to install those pieces and experience winter in Wyoming.
