About Jessica

Jessica¬†comes to Gillette from Florida, where her clients included young people who had suffered significant trauma in their lives. Jessica’s training includes an undergraduate degree from the University of Central Florida centered on nonprofit management and grant writing, and a Master’s degree in clinical mental health counseling, with a focus on crisis and trauma prevention.

Jessica is open, honest and direct with her clients, and encourages them to challenge and question her. She often uses an artistic approach to therapy, using art and music to help clients open up and communicate their thoughts. She is ready to work with the challenges she has already seen in Gillette; young people in crisis and suicide prevention.

“I tell these clients that tomorrow needs you,” says Jessica. “ The teenage years are hard, and I want them to understand that they should never make a long-term decision based on a temporary situation”.
