Why are you working in your chosen specialty? I love to watch the transformation that comes from people who become willing to challenge themselves and their thoughts to change how they feel in the long term.
Why is being a therapist/counselor important to you? I truly believe that my job allows people to become safe to feel what they feel.
Why did you choose to work for CCH? I love the atmosphere that the staff give at CCH and wanted to be part of the positive changes that are occurring throughout the community.
What has made you feel the most pride in your work at CCH? I love the way that staff come together to provide a holistic approach to not only therapy but general life guidance. Allowing medication providers, counselors and case managers to be within one department with the common goal of serving our clients is the best part!
What advice do you give someone who is looking for a new provider? Find someone who connects with you on a personal level. Therapy is sometimes scary and overwhelming but finding someone that you are comfortable with makes the process of change so much easier. If you don’t connect and feel comfortable with you are with, change!
What do you do for fun? I love anything outdoors, I spend a lot of time camping in the summer and out on the lake with my paddleboard. I also enjoy reading, relaxing with my kiddos and spending time at the BMX track!
