William B. Woodward, MD

About William

The Pathology department processes specimens from the surgery department and local physician offices. These include body fluids and tissue from biopsies or organs. The specimens are checked for abnormalities to aid your physician in diagnosis and treatment.

The department is staffed by Patholgist William B. Woodward, M.D. He is board certified in anatomic and clinical pathology; is a fellow of the College of American Pathologists, and a fellow of the American Society for Clinical Pathology.

The CCMH Pathology group is locally based, so samples of tissue, and/or body fluids stay in Gillette for processing and diagnosis. Quick turnaround times give patients a quicker diagnosis so treatment can begin quickly.
