GILLETTE, WY – The next meeting of the A.W.A.K.E. support group is Tuesday, March 5, from 6-7 pm in the Wyoming Room of the Campbell County Public Library. The group is free and open to anyone with questions about snoring, daytime sleepiness, restless legs, insomnia, unexplained high blood pressure, or those currently on C-PAP or BI-PAP for sleep apnea.

Guest speaker Barb Shober, RPSGT, will speak on the topic: It Takes More Than C-PAP to Sleep Well.

Campbell County Health and the American Sleep Apnea Association joined together to form A.W.A.K.E. (Alert, Well, And Keeping Energetic), a quarterly health awareness group for people affected by sleep apnea. Sleep apnea is a condition where people experience periods where they stop breathing during sleep. Sleep apnea is a serious health condition and can increase the risks for heart attack and stroke.
