About Amanda

Amanda brings a wide range of experience to her role, with a healthcare career that has grown over the past 15 years from medical assistant to registered nurse and now Nurse Practitioner. She earned her associate degree in nursing from Gillette College, her bachelor’s from the University of Wyoming, and her master’s from Clarkson College in Omaha, Nebraska.

Originally from Brighton, Michigan, Amanda moved to Wyoming in 2007 where she began her healthcare career. She later worked in Gillette before gaining additional experience in emergency medicine and serving patients through Indian Health Services in Pine Ridge for the past several years. During that time, she also completed her Nurse Practitioner education.

Amanda’s approach to care centers on supporting patients in making their own healthcare decisions, while providing guidance, education, and encouragement along the way. She values building relationships with patients and helping them feel confident and informed in their care.

Amanda is excited to return to Campbell County Health and serve the Gillette community. She is eagerly looking forward to joining the Walk-In Clinic team, where she had previously enjoyed working as a registered nurse.

Outside of work, Amanda enjoys traveling with her four children, with goals to visit a new national park each summer. She is happy to spend time supporting her kids’ activities, especially hockey. Amanda also enjoys snowboarding, watersports, and spending time outdoors whenever she can.
