About Amber

We are excited to introduce Amber Burns to our team at Physical Therapy and Rehabilitation Services. Amber joined us on January 20, 2025, and brings with her a wealth of experience in Occupational Therapy.

Amber studied at the University of North Dakota and holds a Master of Occupational Therapy (MOTOTR-L). She is an active member of the Wyoming Occupational Therapy Association (WYOTA) and the American Occupational Therapy Association (AOTA).

Amber’s passion for healthcare comes from a deep desire to help others and make a real difference in people’s lives. Though Amber originally wanted to become a veterinarian, an experience with euthanizing an animal led her to pivot toward a career in occupational therapy. After working in a physical and occupational therapy clinic that specialized in orthopedics, Amber discovered her love for hand therapy, which is now one of her key areas of expertise.

Originally from Gillette, Amber left after high school but returned to raise her son ten years ago. When she’s not helping patients, Amber enjoys being a mom and cheering her son on in sports. She’s also an amateur yogi working toward becoming a certified yoga instructor. In her downtime, she enjoys spending time with her animals.

We’re thrilled to have Amber as part of the CCH family and look forward to seeing the positive impact she’ll make with our patients. Please join us in welcoming Amber to the team.
