About Billie
Billie Wilkerson, MD, joins our team at CCMG Family Medicine, Main Clinic, where she brings more than 23 years of experience in family medicine with a special focus on obstetrics and pediatrics.
A Campbell County native, Dr. Wilkerson was born in Buffalo, WY, and raised in Campbell County, where her family's legacy runs deep, her great-grandfather was the first child born in the county.
One of two students awarded the first Campbell County Memorial Hospital scholarship in 1990, she completed her undergraduate studies at the University of Wyoming, graduating with honors, and went on to earn her medical degree from Creighton University School of Medicine in 1999. She completed her residency at Bishop Clarkson Hospital in Omaha, NE, before returning home to Gillette in 2002. For more than two decades, Dr. Wilkerson cared for patients at Family Health before joining CCH in July 2025.
Dr. Wilkerson is passionate about the full scope of family medicine, cherishing the opportunity to care for multiple generations within the same family. “One of my favorite experiences as a doctor is getting to deliver babies and watch them grow up. I recently reached a milestone where I delivered a baby for a baby that I delivered,” she shared.
With her extensive background in private practice, Dr. Wilkerson hopes to bring new ideas to improve processes at CCH. She also studies Spanish as a second language, striving to better connect with and serve Spanish-speaking patients in the community.
Outside of work, she stays busy with her children, her daughter is attending the University of Wyoming, and her son is very active in high school sports. She gives back to the community through volunteer roles, including serving as the social media manager for Thunder Basin Boys Basketball and as chairman of the Public Health Board of Trustees.
