Binh N Tran, MD

About Binh

Please join us in welcoming Binh N. Tran, M.D. to Campbell County Health’s Radiation Oncology team.

Dr. Tran earned his medical degree from the University of Illinois College of Medicine. He completed his internship at St. Francis Hospital in Evanston and went on to serve as an Annenberg Oncology Fellow at Mallinckrodt Institute of Radiology at Washington University in St. Louis, Missouri. During his specialty training there, he was recognized for his research and patient advocacy efforts by being named an American College of Radiation Oncology Scholar.

Dr. Tran has authored several professional articles and continues his work as an investigator for the Radiation Therapy Oncology Group. He was also recently honored by the National Cancer Institute for his research efforts. He is board certified in radiation oncology.

Raised in the Midwest, Dr. Tran values hard work, humility, and steady commitment. Those values continue to shape both his professional and personal life. He has a deep appreciation for the outdoors and the landscapes of the Western United States and the Rockies. Over the years, he and his daughter have built a tradition of skiing out West together, creating many meaningful memories along the way.

Outside of work, Dr. Tran enjoys staying active. He is an avid golfer and values fitness as a way to stay healthy and balanced. He brings a grounded perspective to life and work, with a strong appreciation for discipline, consistency, and time with family.
