About Marie

Marie Heath, LPC, is a behavioral health counselor at the CCMG Kid Clinic. She brings a passion for youth mental health and a wealth of experience that will greatly benefit the children and families we serve.

From a young age, she felt called to a career in helping others, leading her to the field of psychotherapy. Her journey has included working with children and adolescents in school settings, as well as supporting adults facing substance use challenges at Volunteers of America.

Marie is trained in both solution-focused and functional family therapy. She is deeply committed to reducing the stigma surrounding mental health and envisions a more connected model of care, one that combines individualized therapy with peer support and community-based resources. Her goal is to create consistent, supportive systems that empower youth beyond the therapy room.

With a special interest in early intervention, Marie is especially excited to work with school-age children, helping them develop the resilience and tools they need to thrive.

When she’s not at the clinic, Marie enjoys spending time with her two children, camping, and exploring the beauty of the Black Hills.
