About Nic

Nic Garcia, DO, is a physician in the Walk-In Clinic at Campbell County Health. Dr. Garcia is a board-certified family medicine physician with over 13 years of experience in healthcare.

Dr. Garcia grew up in Colorado and began his academic journey at the University of Colorado Boulder. He went on to earn his Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine from Rocky Vista University College in Parker, Colorado.

Drawn to the versatility of family medicine, he appreciates the opportunity to care for a wide range of patients, from children to adults, while incorporating hands-on, holistic techniques.

His career has been shaped by a strong foundation in service. As a recipient of the U.S. Air Force’s Health Professions Scholarship Program (HPSP), Dr. Garcia completed his residency in California before volunteering to serve in Special Operations. He was stationed in Okinawa, Japan, where he served as Medical Director for an elite pararescue team for six years. After his service overseas, Dr. Garcia continued his medical practice in Florida for another six years before deciding to return to the Rocky Mountain region.

At CCH, Dr. Garcia hopes to contribute not only through his clinical expertise, but also by bringing a unique perspective rooted in osteopathic principles. He is passionate about helping patients in their time of need and finding the right answers for them.

Outside of medicine, Dr. Garcia is an adventurer at heart. He enjoys rock climbing, skydiving, base jumping, paragliding, hiking, and camping. His love of the outdoors and active lifestyle aligns perfectly with his return to the region he calls home.
