Pop Tabs Make a Big Difference

Campbell County Health would like to give kudos to Pioneer Manor resident Sherri Tranel and her mother, Bonnie.

Sherri has been collecting pop tabs and sending them to Ronald McDonald House charities for more than 23 years! Sherri recently received a thank you letter from the charity’s Denver office, where Sherri sends about 35 pounds of pop tabs each year! WOW.

The tab of a standard soda can is made of high quality, high-grade aluminum. By itself, it doesn't mean much, but when you pull together, pop-tabs add up and become a valuable donation to the Ronald McDonald House. Sherri's donation goes to help families who are far from home and have a child in need of advanced medical treatment.

Little things can make a big difference.
