Thanks for working here Thursday: Sean MacManus, Radiology

Campbell County Health is proud of its employees, and we want the CCH family and the Campbell County community to know about the good work that they do for this organization.

Allow me to introduce Sean MacManus, a Radiology Transport Technician at Campbell County Health’s Radiology Department. Sean was an EMT in San Diego, Calif., before he moved to Gillette to apply for the nursing program at Gillette College—which we are happy to report he was accepted to, and will begin later this month! Sean has worked for CCH for one year, and began his journey into healthcare after seeing a news brief of a care team helping people during a disaster. While working as an EMT in San Diego, he covered 11 hospitals in the metropolitan area and worked with many nurses in the Emergency Departments who inspired him to be a nurse. Sean is also quite the artist, and he’s well-known for doodling beautiful sketches on the whiteboards throughout the Radiology Department. We ask Sean what he likes most about working for Campbell County Health, and what excellence every day means to him. Check out his response:

“CCMH is very advanced compared to some of the places I’ve seen in California, and it’s filled with great, fun and friendly people who really care about the patients. The Radiology department is a great team, and I hope that my experience with them will help me become a great nurse.

Excellence every day means performing at your best, but on top of that, looking to see what you can improve upon.”

Thank you, Sean, for always trying to make things a little better. We’re proud to have you on our team, and we know you’ll make an excellent nurse.
