Thanks for working here Thursday: Mary Christopherson, CCMG Audiology

Campbell County Health is proud of its employees, and we want the CCH family and the Campbell County community to know about the good work that they do for this organization.

Have you met Mary Christopherson, the Office Coordinator of the Campbell County Medical Group Audiology Clinic? Mary has been with CCH for 11 years, and has worked in several clinics and departments. In fact, her sister-in-law Shari, who worked in the Campbell County Memorial Hospital Surgery Department, inspired her to work in health care. “Before I’d officially met her, I remembered her from taking care of my mother in the Operating Room. She was so compassionate and informative. She has a huge heart, a wonderful soul, and it shows. She truly makes an impression with every patient and that is such a wonderful trait that I strive to reflect,” says Mary.

Outside of work, Mary enjoys relaxing at home with her husband, Lon, and their two Labrador Retrievers Rusty and Jasper. They frequently invite family and friends over to enjoy the view off of their deck or play cards, and love to travel. Mary also adores Facetiming with her daughter, Jennifer and grandson, Dawson, who live in Minnesota.

We asked Mary what she likes most about working at CCH and what excellence every day means to her. Check out her response:

“I am very happy to be working in the Audiology Clinic because it allows me to utilize the skills that I’ve learned throughout all of the positions I’ve had at CCH. Hearing loss can be so devastating for people and it can leave them feeling vulnerable. I enjoy working in this clinic because I’m able to build a relationship with our patients and help alleviate their apprehensions.

Excellence every day means waking up and seizing the day! I strive to be honest, work hard, be dependable, be grateful and treat others as I would like to be treated. Life is too short, it’s important to embrace each moment!”

Mary, we love your enthusiasm for your job and the care that you provide to our patients. We’re proud to have you on our team.

Is there a CCH employee who went the extra mile or shows you extraordinary service? Give them a pat on the back by completing an Excellence Every Day card.
