Amanda TeppoCampbell County Health is proud of its employees, and we want the CCH family and the Campbell County community to know about the good work that they do for this organization.

Say hello to Amanda Teppo, the Executive Assistant to Bill Stangl, the Vice President of Physician Services for the nearly 20 Campbell County Medical Group clinics. Amanda does a wide variety of tasks in this role including answering phones, scheduling meetings and appointments, attending meetings and taking notes, as well as establishing communications between employees, doctors and executives, and much more. She’s been with CCH for the past two years, initially starting with the CCH Human Resources Department.

“Amanda has a tremendous can-do attitude,” says Bill Stangl, her director. “There is no job too big or too small, or too challenging, for her to take on.” Bill also says that Amanda stands out as an employee because of her willingness to go the extra mile—time and time again—as well as her ability to change from one task to another at a moment’s notice. “Her work ethic is second to none,” he says.

This is Amanda’s first stint in the health care industry. “There are a lot of different opportunities in health care. You are able to work in administration, registration, accounting, and so forth; but I have really found my fit in Clinic Administration,” she says. We think so too, Amanda.

Amanda calls Jane Glaser her health care hero. “Jane is my stepmother and she has been in the healthcare industry for more than 27 years. I admire people who find their passion and stick with it for over two decades,” she says.

When Amanda isn’t busy with work, she is busy with a 2 year old daughter, and an 8 year old step-daughter. “My fun outside of work is basically whatever those two have planned,” she says. We asked Amanda what she likes most about working at CCH, and what excellence every day means to her. Check out her response:

“I really enjoy working in Clinic Administration. I get the opportunity to do so much, whether it is onboarding providers, working on policies and procedures, or scheduling different events. I also take a lot of pride in my work—especially when I surpass people’s expectations of what they wanted.

Excellence every day to me is being better than you were yesterday and just improving every chance you get.”

Amanda, thank you for all of your hard work. We are proud to have you on our team.
