The Legacy Resident Craft Bazaar is December 8

The Legacy Living and Rehabilitation Center is hosting a Resident Craft Bazaar on Friday, December 8 starting at 1 pm in the Great Room at The Legacy, 1000 S. Douglas Highway.

Residents started working on these Christmas items the day after Halloween. Items being sold include:

  • candy cane wreaths
  • glass art including platters, bowels, trivets wall hangings,ornaments, crosses and pendants
  • gingerbread men pots
  • pottery
  • and other Christmas goodies.

A handmade plastic canvas toy train is available by raffle; $1 per ticket, and $6 for five.

Residents participate in the crafts and activities in conjunction with their occupational therapy care plans.

The Country Store will be open with their Christmas décor and other gift ideas and you grab your favorite holiday beverage from the Bistro while you shop.

Proceeds from the Bazaar and the Country Store benefit resident quality of life and activities.
